I got bored late last weekend and went for a short drive up to Bribie to take a dip in the ocean. It turned out to be a bit cold once the sun started going down, so I grabbed the camera from the car and took a couple of shots of this lagoon draining into the ocean.
In addition to the pics in the previous post, I’ve also merged some bracketed shots together with Photomatix and uploaded to flickr.
I had to work down at our Robina store yesterday, so I decided I may as well head to the beach after work. The sun isn’t setting until around 7pm at the moment, so it left plenty of time to scout out a spot at Snapper Rocks. The original idea was to go for a swim, but it quickly turned into a photo trip; I couldn’t help but pack the camera in the car along with my swimmers. When I got there, the beach was packed with people (on a weekday!) but most of them left as the sun was setting.Despite forgetting to pack any filters, some of the photos turned out nicely.
