I got bored late last weekend and went for a short drive up to Bribie to take a dip in the ocean. It turned out to be a bit cold once the sun started going down, so I grabbed the camera from the car and took a couple of shots of this lagoon draining into the ocean.

Yesterday Camille and I met up with Sarah-Rose and Ryan out at UQ St Lucia campus to take some engagement photos (we will be shooting their wedding in a few months). Below are a few of my favourite photos; Camille has uploaded hers here.

Yesterday I helped Camille out with a shoot that she’s been planning for some time. It was a good excuse to try out my new 80-200mm f/2.8 lens

We took a trip out to Toowoomba on Saturday to see the Carnival of Flowers. It was absolutely packed with people, but we managed to see a few flowers eventually. We also visited the Japanese garden, which is part of the USQ campus. The clouds were looking ominous towards the end of the day, but we managed to make it home without getting rained on. I’ll definitely be heading back to Toowoomba on a less crowded day to take some more photos!
