I’ve been extremely lazy for the last month, and haven’t really updated either of my blogs. I also haven’t taken many photos (apart from the obligatory unwrapping of presents), so I decided to head into the city with Camille and my new Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens to get some shots of the city skyline and new Kurilpa bridge. The bridge had crappy coloured lights that night for some reason, but I did manage to get a couple of interesting shots (below) and played around with them in Photomatix.
For the first 2 weeks after moving in, we had no washing machine. I had decided to go down the “bargain” route, and ordered one from Price Pirate. Unfortunately the delivery blew out from 2-3 days to 2 weeks. There are only a limited number of times you can wear underpants before they need washing (4, to be exact: normal, back to front, inside-out normal, inside-out back to front), so we decided to make use of the laundromat on the next corner.

A few months ago I purchased my first home at Zillmere in Queensland. We have since coined it “Thrillmere”. This website will be dedicated to life in Thrillmere – including changes made to the house (painting etc) and photos from our day-to-day shenanigans. Stay tuned!
